Summer Camp in Aschaffenburg (ages 12-16)

Aschaffenburg is tucked away next to pristine hilly woodland in the corner of Lower Franconia, a short journey from Frankfurt. It boasts impressive medieval and Renaissance architecture - Johannesburg Castle is just one example - and warm, balmy weather.

Events and festivals are organized year-round and shopaholics will also enjoy the 700 boutiques dotted around the city.

You will enjoy a varied calendar of social and leisure activities, 4 afternoons per week. Two-week stays include one day trip on Saturdays. You will spend Sunday with your host family. The school will provide a detailed activity schedule on arrival.

Nuremberg

Summer Camp in Nuremberg (ages 14-17)

Nuremberg is a cultural and historic stronghold in Germany, and for centuries was the preferred royal residence for German kings. They poured their riches into this Bavarian town, building castles and churches galore. Examples of these architectural delights can still be seen today. Nuremberg also played a key part in the Second World War and it was here that the trials were held following the armistice.

Today, Nuremberg is a modern city buzzing with activity, with cafes, restaurants and upmarket shops lining the streets between the churches and palaces.

Summer Camp in Berlin (ages 14-17)

Berlin, a unique mishmash of world history and explosive creativity, is a European hotspot for entrepreneurs and students alike. The ideal location to experience German culture today. From the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie to the unique and hip area of Kreuzberg, Berlin is a melting pot of different traditions. Have a coffee in one the young, up and coming areas and then take a stroll along to the impressive Reichstag and its surrounding area. From artisanal baking to delicious currywurst, Berlin is a thrilling and undenianbly unique city.

Summer Camp in Cologne (ages 14-17)

Germany's most popular tourist destination has much more to offer than just the gorgeous filigree spires and towering facade of its world-famous cathedral - the city is synonymous with joie de vivre and the arts, with museums a-plenty as well as a broad range of dining, shopping and entertainment options. There's a different architectural curiosity on every corner, from crumbling Roman walls to angular postwar buildings.

The peace and quiet of the Rhine riverbanks offer a respite from the buzz in the summertime, and Cologne's many museums are also a great way to discover the city's history at your own pace.
