This programme is ideal for young people between the ages of 12 and 17 who would like to begin learning or to perfect their English in a scenic and removed location. Classes are organized according to age group (ages 12-14 and ages 15-17) and level, and participants benefit from experienced teachers and supervision adapted to their age. English lessons are held in the mornings and afternoons are reserved for activities and excursions, all in English!
All levels are welcome, from absolute beginners to the most advanced students. This programme has been specially designed for young people ages 12 - 17 and combines English lessons with group activities.
Lessons are each 50 minutes long, and students have 20 lessons per week. Class size is on average 12 students, with a 15 student maximum.
Students receive course materials upon arrival. At the end of their stay, they receive a certificate of participation detailing their progress and achievements.
The activity programme includes one full-day and one half-day excursion per week:
- Full-Day Excursions: London, Oxford, Brighton, Bath or the Isle of Wight
- Half-Day Excursions: Winchester, New Forest, Bournemouth or Stonehenge.
- Various Afternoon and Evening Activities: sports, bowling, film nights, shopping, music workshops...
Our summer camp takes place on the university campus in the heart of Southampton, a growing and dynamic city. The city boasts a particularly rich and interesting cultural and historical environment and is one of the United Kingdom’s greenest cities. With one of the country’s largest and most popular shopping districts on the waterfront, Southampton is also an ideal starting point for discovering discover London and the southern coast’s main cities, such as Winchester, Bournemouth, Brighton or New Forest. Our campus in Southampton is ideally situated for allowing students to take advantage of these numerous attractions.
Students have their classes, meals, and accommodation all within close proximity of each other. Due to its location in the city centre, students can also easily visit Southampton’s main attractions by foot after leaving the school. The campus is equipped with a modern and well-lit cafeteria, spacious classrooms, a large sports hall and a theatre equipped for film screenings or other events. The school also organizes numerous activities for younger participants, such as outings and an dance night at a local club.
The rooms are located in a modern residence hall near a peaceful park and just a couple of minutes by foot to the main campus. Students stay in single rooms with a private bathroom.
The residence has a common room equipped with television, billiard table and vending machines, and it's a perfect spot for students to relax in the company of their new friends. Students also have access to a laundry facility.
The residence building is very safe: The school personnel is present at all times and there is a security guard at the entrance 24/7. Students will be asked to pay a £60 deposit for the residence, and the money will be refunded at the end of the stay provided no damages have been incurred.

This programme is open from 5th July to 16th August 2015 for 2 to 4 weeks.
Arrivals and departures are on Sundays.

During July and August, we organise weekly accompanied travel from Brussels, Mons, Lille and Paris to Bournemouth, with transfers to Southampton. You do not need authorisation from your local authorities for this travel option, we will send you the official document to be filled out.
The journey includes:
- Accompanied return travel
- An additional night if the return journey is on a Sunday
- Return transfers to the residence.
