Loch Long
Loch Long, in the heart of Scotland's Trossachs National Park, is a dream destination for adventurers. Divers enjoy coming here to explore its mysterious waters. The village of Arrochar located near its head is popular among hikers for its great geographical location (only one hour from Glasgow) and breathtaking landscapes.
This simply is a wonderful site for a summer and adventure camp!
The Summer camp
Our summer camp offers a quality, international and homely environment to youngsters looking for adventure and to develop new English skills. Run by the Ritchie family, this camp ensures a nurturing, personal experience to each student. Accommodation, lessons and activities are held on the site, which incldes a private beach on the banks of the Loch Long.

Programme
Adventure English (ages 8-16)
This is the classic program offered by the school. Including:
- 15 hours of English lessons per week
- 15 hours of Adventure Activities
- One half-day project-based lesson on British culture
- One half-day excursion
- Exciting evening activity programme
- Two full-day excursions
Language level: beginner to advanced
100% Adventure (ages 12-16)
For those who already have a high level of English, the school offers a 100% activity programme.
- Two half-day sessions per day (or one full day adventure)
- One half-day project-based lesson on British culture
- One half-day excursion
- Exciting evening activity programme
- Two full-day excursions
Language level: B1
Both programmes can of course be combined (1 week of Adventure English, 1 week of 100% Adventure).
Activities and events during your stay
A wide range of outdoor activities are organised throughout the Summer Camp. From novices in the outdoors, to experienced explorers, there is an adventure activity to suit everyone!
Some of the many afternoon activities available includes:

- Mountain and Forest Adventure
- Canyoning
- Raft Building
- Etc...
Evening activities:
- Scottish Nights

In addition to these activities, there are full-day excursions at the weekend (stays of more than 2 weeks).

Supervision
Children are supervised 24h/24.
- During school time : 1 teacher for max. 12 students
- During the activities : 2 groupe leaders for max. 10 children
- On the campus : an average of 1 adults for 3 children
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided in the school residence, in 4 to 10-bedded rooms with full board.

Stays take place from Sunday to Saturday, from June 23 to August 17, 2019.

Notes:
- Some airlines, such as Ryanair do not allow children under 16 years travelling unaccompanied by an adult and do not offer the service UM (Unaccompanied Minor). It is therefore important to check with the company chosen before booking.
- Do not make travel arrangements until we have confirmed your enrolment in your chosen course (around 4 days after payment has been made).

- Valid ID card or passport
- Permission to travel for minors (not necessary with a passport), to be requested from local council.
