Summer Camp in Vienna (ages 14-17)

Austria's capital is home to a staggering 1.8 million people. The city boasts of a glamorous array of architectural styles and its UNESCO-listed city centre is a must-see for art and history lovers. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a slice of Sachertorte as you enjoy a leisurely afternoon in one of Vienna's famous old-world cafés. Have a cup of steaming coffee in the Cafe Central, one of the most famous cafes in Vienna that poets, philosophers and scientists such as Trotsky and Altenberg regularly frequented. Walking the city's streets is akin to walking into history, and it is almost guaranteed that you'll be swept up in the Austrian magic of this unique and exciting city.

Vienna's artistic and cultural heritage was shaped by its occupants of the day, including Mozart, Beethoven and Freud. Wander roun the butterfly garden or head to the Musikverein to hear phenomenal classical music - Vienna is bursting with culture and activities that suit a variety of different tastes.

  • Class size: Average 10-12 students (maximum 15)
  • Schedule: morning and/or afternoon lessons
  • Course length: 2-6 weeks
  • Placement test: first day of lessons
  • Certificate of completion at the end of your stay

  • Standard Course: 20 General German lessons per week

    Schedule: 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Monday to Friday

    Language level: elementary-advanced (A1-C1)

  • Intensive Course: 24 General German lessons per week

    Includes the above General German classes, plus an extra four lessons per week, usually held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

    Language level: elementary-advanced (A1-C1)

Quad room (extra for a twin room), bathroom in each room, full board.

From the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie to the unique and hip area of Kreuzberg, Berlin is a melting pot of different traditions. Have a coffee in one the young, up and coming areas and then take a stroll along to the impressive Reichstag and its surrounding area. From artisanal baking to delicious currywurst, Berlin is a thrilling and undenianbly unique city.

Summer Camp in Höchst im Odenwald (ages 8-14)

Höchst is a small town (10,000) located in the heart of the Oden Forest, 25km east of Darmstadt. Every year the city hosts a range of festivals such as the Apfelblütenfest (Apple Blossom Festival) and a string of impressive markets such as the Odenwälder Kartoffelmarkt (the Potato Market – a true testament to Germany's appreciation for the tuber.) This is ideal for communicating with the great outdoors and breathing in the fresh air, and is particularly good for younger students.

You will enjoy a varied calendar of social and leisure activities every week, in the afternoon and during the evening. Two-week stays include one day trip. The school will provide a detailed activity schedule on arrival.
