Destination
Goa, a state in India’s West region has as a capital city: Panaji (Panjim) and is a former Portuguese colony with rich history. It is 3,700 km² in size with a population of approximately 1.4 million. The Goan population is a mixture of Hindus and Roman Catholics, the distribution being approximately 65% Hindu and 24% Christian. There is also a smaller Muslim population.
Goa weather is pleasant and sunny. There are no great extremes in temperature and no clear demarcations from one season to the other except for the monsoon.
Getting around within Goa is very easy and there is a variety of options of transport. Buses offer the cheapest way of travelling in Goa. But they are often overcrowded and slow as they follow their own time.
Bicycle is one of the best ways to move about giving you the freedom to go where you want and at your own pace while taking in everything around you as you glide through the natural beauty. We have our own bicycles to rent from as little as £1.50 per day
School
Our fully air-conditioned residential campus has eight well-equipped classroms, Internet cafe, restaurant, Bollywood bar, gardens, large terrace and swimming pool.
With all this only minutes away from the amazing Benaulim beach, there is no better place to stay and learn English than at our school.
Activities
In Goa we have a full-time activity coordinator to help students get the most out of their stay in India, practise their English communication skills and make friends. We have an exciting and varied programme of weekly social activities for our students to enjoy with their new friends, both in and out of the school.
Whether students want to experience the uniquely wonderful nature that only India can offer, visit Hindu temples and ancient cathedrals, go sea fishing or kite surfing, watch a Bollywood movie, join in a pool party, or just hang out on the beach with classmates, the Incredible English social programme has something for everyone.

Visa Information
You will need to apply for a student visa from your local Indian Embassy in order to take language lessons in India.
In general, your Indian Embassy will provide you with a visa, for one or several visits, valid for your particular diet of courses.
A student visa is neither exchangeable nor renewable in India. It allows you to stay for as long as you want within the validity of the visa, but any stay over 6 months requires registration with the FRO (Foreigners' Registration Office) in Delhi, or at the FRRO (Foreigners' Regional Registration Office) within the first 14 days after your arrival.
According to instructions issued by the Indian Embassy, it is not possible to apply for a student visa more than 20 days before the start of your programme.
May we remind you that the Indian Embassy retains full right of accepting, modifying, or refusing any visa application, as well as require additional identifying documents. We therefore advise against booking any flights until after your visa has been confirmed.
