School
Location
As the capital of the United Kingdom, London is one of the world’s leading business, financial and cultural centres. It is the most populous city in the European Union, with a population of over 7.5 million, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and the arts all contribute to its status as a major global city.
London offers an unparalleled environment to learn the English language. It is the undisputed cultural centre of the English-speaking world, boasting some of the most comprehensive history and art museums, all of which have free admission, and concerts almost daily, ranging from the latest pop rock to Baroque classics.
London's historic attractions, including Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and the Tower of London, attract millions of tourists every year and offer students in the area an unbeatable opportunity to learn English culture in tandem with their language studies.
The city also offers students plenty of opportunities to pass their free time, with world-class shopping facilities such as Herod’s or famous markets such as Covent Garden or Picadilly Circus.
The city’s great cultural diversity translates to an incredibly diverse and rich gastronomical landscape, with restaurants on every corner offering good meals for comparatively reasonable prices.
School
Our partner school is located in Fulham, a pleasant residential neighbourhood in SouthWest London, close to Kings Road, Wimbledon and other major tourist attractions.
The school offers a multicultural environment where students are not likely to meet speakers of their own language (less than 3% of students are francophone, for example).
The school provides courses of 15, 20 or 25 lessons of 50 minutes each on subjects ranging from basic English to Business English or preparation for the Cambridge examinations.
The school is equipped with a library, modern classroom, free internet access, study lounges, a cafeteria, and a patios where students can take their breaks in peace.
Staff are readily-available, friendly and ready to give you precise advice to help you adapt to the school and the London lifestyle. Some employees are even former students.
The school has an activities programme which has been very popular with students in the past. Activities are supervised by school personnel and include sports tournaments, tourist excursions within London or to other locations such as Oxford and Stonehenge.
This programme is designed for independent participants aged 18 and over who wish to improve their English in the country's capital, in a school whose quality-to-price ratio is probably the best in London among the schools accredited by the British Council.

Accommodation
We offer accommodation in either a double room (or private for an additional supplement) in host family or in a student residence, depending on the wishes of the student.
- Host Families
Host families are one of the best ways for students to interact with English speakers and experience a bit of English culture. Before departing for your course, you will receive the name, address, and telephone number of your family and we will provide you with a map of your neighbourhood, including the nearest train/tube station.
Our families are each individually selected and inspected by our agent in London, who is also available throughout your stay should you have any issues. Stays in host families include half-board (2 meals a day). Our families are in zone 3 and are thus conveniently located near the school as well as within easy reach of downtown London.
- Student Residences
For students desiring greater independence, we offer accommodation in our student residence, which includes either a private or shared room (please indicate your preference upon enrolment), and a shared kitchen and common rooms. Each room has its own bathroom and telephone and internet connection.
Please note that space is limited and we cannot guarantee availability of a particular type of room. This option is reserved for students in courses of 12 weeks or longer.
Students may also arrange their own accommodation outside of the school.
