Language Courses and Cultural Exchanges Worldwide

French through classic or cultural immersion

Program

A welcome made in France

This programme is designed to provide young people from 13 years of age and adults with total French language and culture immersion.

Students will live with a French family and participate in all of their daily activities. Additionally, we strive to place participants in families who have children of the same age.

This is ideal for people who already have a fairly strong understanding of French and wish to improve their oral capabilities.

Program details

This programme of immersion into a host family requires that participants be already somewhat independant, with a level of French allowing them to express themselves when the need arises. This will aid in sharing in the daily lives of the family which hosts them.

The formula includes full board with the family. Young participants are given a single or double rooms. If it is a double room, they will share either with another student of a different nationality to their own, or a child of the family itself.

The student must keep a journal during their stay, which will then serve as a souvenir of their visit. A certificate of participation is awarded to every student at the end of the exchange.

Our local correspondants concern themselves with the the well-being of the students and are contactable at all times by both the students and their family.

Immersions

We offer two options within this programme:

  • Cultural Immersion

In addition to their daily activities, the host family will organise 2 half-day activities and 2 full-day excursions oriented toward helping the student expand his or her cultural horizons. We guarantee the supervision of an adult during the day making this programme ideal for younger participants.

Students aged 17 and over are welcome to visit the area by their own means.
  • Classic Immersion

For independent students and adults aged 16 and up who have a good command of French.

This option allows the student to explore the culture in a less structured environment.
