As the capital of Massachusetts, Boston remains one of the most popular destinations for students in the whole of the US. Its vast cultural heritage, the prestigious schools & universities it holds (such as Harvard and MIT), and the undeniable charm of its archeticture are just a few examples of Boston's unique and culturally rich identity. These renowned schools attract students from all over the world, transforming Boston into a lively, multicultural haven.
As the Economic and cultural centre of New England, Boston stands out from other cities in the US. Buildings dating from the colonial period are still dotted around the city centre, and the meandering streets running through the city are perfect for pedestrians and bikes. It's considered to be the most European city in America.
Alongside this rich cultural heritage and history, Boston has become one of the US' main cultural and economic hubs. The city and its surrounding areas offer a multitude of different activities, as it lies close to Atlantic sandy beaches of Salem and Newburyport. Why not take a day trip to discover the Salem Witch trials, or breathe in the fresh sea air of Newburyport's beach and take a peek at the fantastic historical buildings? Hundreds of years of history are a mere train ride away.
