Adelaide, South Australia:
Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, is a multicultural and modern city with a wonderful lifestyle. Tasmania is a quiet, safe, unspoiled corner of Australia. Its people are friendly and hospitable, and there is a unique mix of cultures from all over the world, making Hobart an ideal place to study, relax, and explore. Tasmania is home to a World Heritage wilderness, dense ancient forests, beautiful beaches, and green rolling hills.
There are also reminders of the island's penal colony beginnings, as well as fine Georgian and Victorian architecture, excellent restaurants, wineries and theatres, and welcoming locals who are proud of their island home.
Airlie Beach, Whitsundays, Queensland:
The Whitsundays is centrally located on the tropical Queensland coast midway between Cairns and Brisbane.
The Whitsundays College of English is situated in the beautiful coastal town of Airlie Beach, Gateway to the Whitsundays Islands and Great Barrier Reef. Airlie Beach is a colourful holiday destination with mainland activities ranging from basking around the Airlie lagoon to exploring the bustling Saturday morning marketplace or great nightlife.
The option for exploring the Whitsundays Islands and Great Barrier Reef are unlimited. dive or snorkel on the reef or enjoy the beautiful hite sands of Whitehaven Beach. Go whale watching and visit one of the 74 islands that make up the Whitsundays group.
- Work Programme – Adelaide or Airlie Beach
This programme assists students to prepare for and find temporary work in Australia.
The Work Programme requires a minimum 4 weeks English language course . It includes preparation for employment and job placement assistance. After completing a 4 week programme of English, students can start working.
Students will meet with the co-ordinator during their first week. They will receive a Work job kit with useful templates, instructions and steps to assist them with finding work. Student will need to submit completed steps and liaise with the Work co-ordinator throughout the course. Students will be given assistance in preparing an application and an interview, opening a bank account, applying for a National Income Number, etc.

Work placement include jobs in restaurants, cleaning fruit picking, hospitality and other manual work in Adelaide and the Whitsundays.

- Internship Programme – Adelaide, Hobart or Airlie Beach
The school, a leader in Australia for this area, has been successfully running English and Internship Programmes since 1990. Our programme gives students the opportunity of developing professional work skills whilst practising English in the workplace. After completing a 4 week English programme , students can start their internships. The work placements are part-time and take place two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday). Internships are unpaid.
Popular work experience placements include: Business, Accounting and Finance, Architecture, Media and Public Relations, Tourism and Hospitality, Education, Conservation and Environmental areas, Child care, Information Technology, etc.
Entry English level: upper intermediate (FCE/IELTS 5.5 or equivalent)

General English programmes - 20 or 25 lessons per week
They are designed to improve students' English language communication skills to prepare for future study, work, travel or career changes. core classes concentrate on developing grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, writing and pronunciation skills in real-life situations. We offer 20 or 25 lessons of English per week.
Afternoon classes (25 lesson programme) allow students to specialise and choose one or two Special Studies from a wide range of Special Studies options. These include: examination preparation (IELTS, TOEIC), academic study skills, Business English, English for Hospitality, conversation and pronunciation, advanced writing / grammar.
The three destinations for this programme offer accommodation with host families. In Airlie Beach, you also have the choice to stay in a residence.
Homestay is our most popular accommodation option. Families are carefully selected, and students carefully matched with host families. In selecting homestay families, we believe it is important to choose families who appreciate hosting international students. Australian homestay is usually a very successful and happy experience for the student.
Homestay accommodation includes 3 meals per day and all bed linen and towels. Shared rooms are available for students travelling together only.
Student residence - Airlie Beach only
The student residence is a large house located just a short walk from the beach, school, shopping centre and bus stop.
The house has spacious single rooms, a kitchen, a sitting room, a bathroom and laundry facilities.
It is cleaned once a week and linen and dish ware are provided.
