Are you planning a holiday or a short stay in Florida or California?

We offer a wide choice of quality housing with welcoming American host families who have been chosen for their experience and attention to accommodate teenagers from age 14 to 18. Our partner is a specialist in organizing housing for short and medium stays and is approved by the FIYTO (Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations) for the quality of these services. We make sure your child will have a good time abroad while being in a safe place. These programmes last between 2 and 6 weeks.

Our host families are situated in the following areas:

• Florida (Orlando), known worldwide as "the Sunshine State", enjoys a special climate with 310 sunny days per year. Florida offers amazing landscapes, constantly alternating natural beauty and ultra-modern buildings. Everglades National Park, bordering the city on its western flank, is populated by alligators, flamingos and exotic birds and still houses authentic Indian villages that attract millions of tourists every year.
  
  
  
• California (Los Angeles, Riverside, or Orange County) is the most populous state of the United States and is located on the west coast. Bordered by the Pacific Ocean it has a pleasant climate. Its terrain is varied with the origin of the diversity of its landscapes. It is a touristic place where you will enjoy many parks, museums, amusement parks etc.. Many areas are internationally known as Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Malibu and Los Angeles. In California, many sports are available and shopping is of course essential.

The Families

Host families are carefully selected to host young people according to specific criteria such as neighbourhood safety, proximity to transport and quality of care. This hosting package allows you to discover a region.

Your child will typically end up sharing with someone of the same age in accommodation. The majority of the houses have a swimming pool and/or are located near the sea.

Participants stay in a single room with full board.

A transfer to and from the airport is included.

At least one excursion per week is organized by the family. Entry fees to attractions, activities, and restaurants have to be paid by the students.

Guarantees

All families have been visited by our local partner and fulfil strict requirements. They provide a warm comfortable environment for the students and tourists they house.

They are always located in a safe area of the city, situated close to public transport and local shops.

Emergency assistance is available 24/7.

Prices & Dates

Dates

Accommodation is booked per week, on a 7 night basis (generally from Sunday to Saturday), starting from 2 weeks..

Demand is generally quite high during peak season (June - September); we advise you to book your stay at least 3 months in advance. We cannot guarantee availability for a program booked less than 12 weeks before intended departure.

Practical Info

Journey

• Airport: according to destination.
• A transfer is possible from the airport for an additional fee. However a supplement is required in any case for unaccompanied students aged under 18 years.

If you wish, we can book a return flight to Florida or California for you. Please make this clear on your enrolment form.

If you intend to book your own flights, please wait until we have confirmed availability and dates before you do so.

Visa

For EU residents:

• For visits less than 90 days (12 weeks): a student visa is not necessary. You will simply need to fill out an online ESTA declaration (14$) to enter US territory.
• For visits more than 90 days (12 weeks): you will need a visa and we will provide you with all necessary paperwork.

It is highly important that you inform yourself about all the documents you need for obtaining a visa in your home country before visiting your local US embassy.
