Why study Spanish in Alicante?

Destination

Alicante

Alicante is located in the south-east of Spain near Valencia, in the heart of the Costa Blanca. It's a beautiful city with a beach, an international airport and a population of 335,000 inhabitants. For tourists it's the city of dreams with its turquoise-blue waters, palm trees and Mediterranean climate of 300 days of sun a year. located in between some of the best vineyards in Spain, it's no secret that the quality of both Alicante's wine and olives is incredibly high. Alicante has an incredible cultural heritage, as it was founded by the Carthaginian general, Hamilcar Barca, in the 3rd century BC. With stunning panoramas of the Mediterranean Sea from the city walls or from the citadel, you could't ask for a better destination. The typically Spanish area has various cultural centres, shops and a lively night life as well as numerous outdoor activities like windsurfing, water skiing, tennis, golf, and horse back riding. What's not to love? Soak up the sun and sip some local wine while gazing out over the breathraking views and improve your Spanish skills at the same time!

Proyecto Español Spanish School

Our partner school, Proyecto Españo, was founded in 1998 and is located in the heart of Alicante near the Mercado Central. Students come from all over the world to study at Proyecto Español. Class sizes are small to ensure student-teacher contact and to make sure the teaching is tailored to each student's needs, and that they get the individual and personalised education they need to succeed.
