Preview of the Programmes
Summer Camps are programmes aimed at young people from all over the world who want to improve their Spanish and participate in sportive and cultural activities in a safe and welcoming environment. Beyond practicing their language, these programmes allow students to discover the Andalusian region.
Participants are supervised during all activities by the school's experienced staff. A mix of nationalities is guaranteed, you are less likely to meet your native language.
The mix of language classes and activities allows students to make real and rapid progress with their French: they have the opportunity to put into practice many of the ideas touched upon in their classes. Thus their learning is near constant, all while remaining fun and relaxed.

Location
Almuñécar is right in the heart of the tropical coast, less than an hour from Malaga and Grenada. Here the mountainous countryside contrasts with the sea and the valley rich in advocados, sugar apples, mangos, papayas, and bananas. This exotic fruit growth is possible thanks to the region's exceptional climate: between 18ºC in the winter and 25ºC in the summer
The town, nick-named Hins-al-Monacar ("city surrounded by mountains"), is one of the most magical places on this tropical coast: the unshakeable mountains gaze across the crystal waters of the Mediterranean.
The old town recalls the different cultures and civilizations which had left their mark on it (Bronze Age, Phoenician, Roman, Arabic, and Christian). Its white houses litter the steps up to San Miguel castle, and tourists willingly lose themselves in the winding streets and enchanting squares.
School
Our partner school in Almuñécar is a modern building, featuring 7 large classrooms and is only 100 metres from the beach.
The school offers the following services: free Internet access, borrowing school materials from the library, a personal tutor for each pupil, an information file with a town map, a programme of activities and points of interest, etc...
Description
Course
Students take 20 Spanish lessons per week (1 lesson lasts 45 minutes). Classes are open to all levels, from beginner to advanced.
The objective is to make sure that the student communicates in Spanish as readily as possible. This is why the classes are given interactively. Students learn to be independent in daily situations and work on the four main skills: written and spoken expression and comprehension. There are generally 12 pupils per class.

Accommodation
For these summer camps, we offer housing with a host family, full board.
Being housed with a host family is an effective way for students to regularly communicate with Spanish speakers and better know Spanish culture. Families are chosen by our local representative according to strict hospitality criteria and are, according to availability and the participant's preferences, close to the school or town centre.
The particularly welcoming families will share their daily life with the students and help them practice their Spanish every day outside of class.
Participants can stay in a double or single (for a supplement) room.
