Destination
Boston, the capital and largest city of the state of Massachusetts, is one of the most desired student destinations in the United States. Its diverse cultural life, prestigious schools, animated night life and charming architecture attract students from across the United States and the world. As the economic and cultural centre of New England, Boston sets itself apart from other American cities: the centre has conserved many of its colonial buildings, its winding streets and its pedestrian and bike routes.
Residential Program
From 13 to 18 years.
Program
From Monday to Friday, students have English classes in the morning and participate in activities during the afternoon. Courses are taken at Simmons College, a small university situated in the heart of Boston. This neighbourhood, known as the Fenway district, boasts numerous cafés, museums and other colleges. Simmons College is very well connected to the rest of the city by public transportation.
According to the duration of their stay, students will have the opportunity to discover Boston and its surrounding areas thanks to a variety of excursions: the observatory of the Prudential Centre "Sky Walk", Rockport, a whale-watching boat trip, and a day at Six Flags amusement park.
Accommodation
Students share a room in a comfortable and full-equipped University dormitory. Full-board is provided. The residence is located on the campus and has a patio where students can study on sunny days. During the baseball season, students can hear the cheers coming from Fenway Park.
