Program
This Summer Camp programme is designed to bring youth from across the globe together to improve their English and participate in athletic and cultural activities in a fun and safe environment. The curriculum allows students to learn and practice English, explore a new region of the United States, explore new sports and cultural activities, all while enjoying themselves. Participants are supervised by our motivated professional staff during all activities.
The programme is intended for international students aged 13 to 18. It combines 20 lessons of general English per week and a complete activities programme. Optional excursions complete the experience and are offered each weekend for a small additional cost.
Courses can last two, three or four weeks.
No Visa is necessary for EU residents and Canadians, a valid passport is sufficient (an ESTA declaration must be filled in before leaving, but we will provided you with all of the necessary information as to how to obtain one).
Destination
Our summer camp in Boca Raton, one of the most beautiful cities of the region, is located halfway between Palm Beach and the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area.
The school is located on a private campus, an ideal environment for learning English. The Boca Raton beaches, city centre and commercial district are in the school’s immediate proximity.
The excellent staff at our partner school are there to ensure that the young participants enjoy an unforgettable experience in Florida. Supervision and guidance is available 24 hours a day from the moment the student arrives at the airport until the moment he or she returns home.
Courses
The classes run from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday, for a total of 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week. There is a maximum of 15 students per class.
The school accepts students with elementary to advanced knowledge of English, but is not suitable for complete beginners.
Students have orientation the first Thursday after they arrive at 8:00 AM and take a placement exam during this period to determine their level.
Each student receives a welcome pack in which they receive a student ID card with their name, along with the address and the telephone number of their residence and the programme coordinator.
We offer 2 programmes of classes at Boca Raton:
Classic English

Classic English + Orlando

- From Wednesday to Friday

- 2 nights in Orlando (+ vists and activities)

Activities
The staff organises activities each afternoon and evening. Examples include sports, team games on the campus or at the beach, a boat excursion in the Everglades, a visit to Miami, or recreational activities, such as shopping, bowling, dancing, or a trip to the pool.
The staff also organises full-day excursions each Saturday and Sunday. These optional excursions can be paid on-location (65 to 135 dollars). These activities include outings to Universal Studios in Orlando, a boat tour and diving, rafting, Bush Gardens in Tampa, the Kennedy Space Centre, Sea World Orlando and many more.
Accommodation
Residence
Students are housed on campus in a shared room with a bathroom. The rooms are equipped with wardrobes, desks and internet access (wifi). They are cleaned weekly. Each floor of the residence has a TV room, a common room and a computer lab. Full board provided.

Programmes are for 2, 3 or 4 weeks, fromWednesday to Wednesday (Friday for the Orlando or Bahamas programme).
2012 session dates:
- 2 weeks from 04/07, 18/07, and 01/08
- 3 weeks from 04/07 and 25/07
- 4 weeks from 04/07 and 18/07
For those taking the Orlando option, programmes last 2 more days and departures are on Fridays.
