During July and August, as well as during the Belgian Easter holidays, we organise weekly supervised round-trip transportation between Antwerp, Brussels, Mons, Paris or Calais and Bournemouth, with transfers to other destinations. This journey is available to all ages, including children. Minors (under 18) will not need authorisation from their commune for this trip; we will send you an official document from the school for you to fill in.

This particular journey concerns all schools and programmes in Bournemouth, i.e.:

• Business and Specialised English in Bournemouth
• English in Bournemouth (Anglo-European)

With a transfer from Bournemouth:

• English and Sport in Seaford or Clayesmore
• English, Music, and Sport in Seaford
• English in Southampton - Summer Camp
• Immersion in the United Kingdom

Accompanied

The trip includes:

• Accompanied return group travel to Bournemouth
• An extra night of accommodation in the case of Sunday returns
• A transfer to the host family or residence upon arrival. For juniors and students staying with a private tutor, the return transfer is also included. For all others, expect 5-10£ for the taxi.

Warning : Returning on a Sunday only occurs in the case of our trips by coach. If you are travelling individually or by plane, your return day is always a Saturday, before noon. Any extra journey will cost 45€.

Departure Locations:

• Paris: Gare du Nord, opposite the Thalys desk
• Antwerp: Berchem station (see dates*)
• Brussels: Gare Centrale, leaving at 8:15 AM.
• Mons: Station Q8 on the Brussels-Mons motorway around 9:15 AM.
• Calais: Car park of the Calais-Fréthun TGV station (10 minutes from Calais) at 11:30 AM.

The precise details of your journey will be sent to you along with your programme invoice, and confirmed in relation to your accommodation, ideally within the fortnight immediately preceding your departure.

Prices

Important: Inbound journey normally takes place the Saturday of the final week of the programme, except on certain dates during the summer where they occur on a Sunday. If your particular programme, whatever its length, ends on one of these dates, you will spend an extra day (with full board) at your host family (included in the journey price). For this supplementary night (from Saturday to Sunday), it may be the case that a higher number of new students than anticipated require a bed for the beginning of their own programme. In this situation of overlap, the level of comfort for the student may be reduced to a spare bed or futon.

For students who are not staying in Bournemouth but instead need a transfer to Clayesmore, Seaford, Oxford, or Southampton, they will spend the night between Saturday and Sunday (both upon arrival and before departure) at the group leader residence in Bournemouth. The group leaders will devote their full attention to looking after the students. Students of the same age and gender will share a room.
