If you're looking make a difference in a humanitarian project as a volunteer, then our volunteer programme in Cambodia is definitely for you!
Managed by a local NGO, the project welcomes people who are willing to contribute to Cambodian society and the lives of the local inhabitants.
The programme is available for a period of 12 weeks throughout the entire year, and can be combined with language lessons (2 hours per day). This is the ideal programme for self-sufficient and independent individuals aged 18+ who like working with children, but also for those who wish to make a special contribution to Cambodian society - for example medical professionals, teachers, retired individuals, engineers...
A longer volunteer project (up to 1 year) is also possible in an administrative or educational support role, depending on your profile, age and skills. A good level of English is required for a longer stay.

Easy Languages is committed too!
We like to help people, even from afar! Easy Languages has decided to finance one day of meals per month for the children in Phnom Penh. A simple gesture, but a huge boost for the association!
Cambodia is located in the heart of South East Asia. It evokes images of a mysterious, glorious and rich past of cultural heritage. The beautiful temple sites of Angkor Wat, known throughout the world, attract more and more tourists from all over the world with each coming year.
Phnom Penh is the capital and largest city in the country, and home to more than two million inhabitants. Also known as the "Pearl of Asia", it's renowned for its beautiful architecture, monuments and historical attractions. You'll find numerous bistros and small hotels along the banks of the river Mekong, as well as luxury shops and small art galleries dotted along the side streets. With a budding art scene and an exhilarating night life from dusk to dawn, the city is buzzing with activity!
With a mixture of the Cambodian hospitality, Asian exoticism and the Indochinese charm, Phnom Penh warmly welcomes its many visitors. You will fall for the locals' undeniable charm and natural kindness.
The cost of living is very low compared to what you are used to. A sim card with 80GB of data comes to about $8 (in November 2017), and the average meal costs around $3-$6, or even cheaper if you eat like the locals.
The association was established to feed underprivileged children who do not have access to meals, either because their families do not have the means or because they no longer have a family. The primary objective is to distribute one meal per day to starving, begging and underprivileged children.
This organisation provides more than just food to these children, however. The association has the facilities to allow them to bathe themselves, and to provide moral, civic, and sanitary education as much as they possibly can. The association also helps the children make their way back to school, and their attitude towards education.
Since its opening, this organisation has given underprivileged children more than 56,800 meals. The association welcomes a staggering 200 - 250 children every day. Each child's meal costs around €0.80. Babies are given milk and older children receive the most balanced meals as possible.
Students stay in a shared volunteer house with full board and in an international environment.
A welcome dinner is arranged for new arrivals and you will also have the opportunity to explore Phnom Penh and its historical sites for a couple of days.
